The Cuba Bar, Market Street. Very small but cosy upstairs bar. Great music. Just extended.. now ground level bar as well.
The Ship Inn on Market Street. Good selection of beers here, a very popular pub with the locals. Tetleys draught is a great drink here. This is THE Pub to meet up in when in Hoylake.
The Green Lodge, Kings Gap, just been refurbished. Great Ales and two for one food meals. A massive beer garden, great place for a drink on a sunny day.

In the Anchor

The Blue Anchor,good locals pub with entertainment some nights,(opposite the " Kwiki " now Somerfields.  a warm, welcoming pub that has a relaxed and casual atmosphere. The Anchor is a great place to have a meal, watch the footie, or have a relaxing drink or two. there is a good selection of cask ales and lagers. A traditional British food menu is served and offers really good value for money.There is a Tuesday night quiz, a Friday Night Disco and live entertainment on Saturdays.
The Railway Inn, Meols. Food, Ale and Premiership Footie
The Railway has undergone a refurbishment and is now a HUNGRY HORSE Eatery. The mine hosts are Mark and Sheena and a warm welcome is assured to all. The food is still served all day and every day and the excellent menu has plenty of choice together with Massive Plates. Monday night is Quiz night with Eugene and his cards. Don't forget you get nothing for a pair in this card game and one should never go down on a Jack. Celebrity drinkers have been seen here. The 'Raily' is a great place to watch the footy on the big screen and other TV's around the bar and lounge. There is a good choice of Beers,Spirits and Cocktails to be had here.Wednesday night is the Music Quiz Night, and Thursday night is Pool Night,so why not go along and sink a few reds.There is never a dull moment in The Railway and it is well worth a look in....
