Spring into Summer with Modern Jive

Modern Jivers are getting fit for the summer 4 nights a week on the Wirral. New members welcome to join us for new dance classes each week at The Village Hall Thornton Hough every Sunday, British Legion Ellesmere Port on Mondays and Tuesdays and Thursdays at Octel Club Bromborough.

We are getting ready for demonstrations at Thornton Hough Scarecrow Festival. It’s fun, you’ll meet new friends and get yourself ready for the holiday beaches. Just turn up on your own or bring a friend or two. Guys – women love a man who can really dance and with us you will learn.

Every night starts at 7.30pm with a Beginners Class where you have fun learning the basics and then dancing till 10.30pm. Is it for you? Bring this article and try it for free.

JIVEATHON FOR TSUNAMI APPEAL

Dancenorthwest the local Modern Jive Night put on a 5 hour Jiveathon for the Tsunami.

Dancers were out and about getting as much sponsorship as they could to raise funds and this was added to by Dancenorthwest.

The Jiveathon night i happened on Thursday 17th February at The Octel Club Bridle Rd, Bromborough from 7pm to Midnight. Those who were new to dancing and wanted to find out what it was all about, came and watched for £3 and all of that was added to the funds.
